Frequent trading
Frequent trading is an investment strategy that’s detrimental to other members invested in the same variable fund investment options. Canada Life monitors this activity. If it’s determined that excessive trading is occurring, a frequent trading fee may be charged (currently up to two per cent of the amount exchanged) or a transfer may not be allowed in accordance with administrative rules.

You can make updates to your investment choices through mycanadalifeatwork.com or through the Canada Life Call Centre at 1-866-716-1313, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET.

Transfers are free of charge unless you transfer out of a fund less than 30 calendar days after having transferred money into that fund. In such case, a 2% fee may be charged.

• Visit mycanadalifeatwork.com under Savings> Manage portfolio > Change your portfolio > Investment instructions to make the change online; or
• Call the Canada Life Call Centre at 1-866-716-1313, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET, and a representative will assist you to complete the change over the phone.
